Quality Surfboards

Primal started out as a hardcore surfboard label in a back factory in Barrys Point Road on Auckland’s North Shore back in 1991. It has since grown to be one of the best known surfboard brands in New Zealand. Feedback from the thousands of boards shaped and first hand experience has added to our knowledge of surfing conditions around the world thus giving us a better idea of our customer’s needs. The quality of our boards has also caught the eye of Quiksilver and Rip Curl who have provided us with the licence to shape boards under those well known labels.

Recently with the introduction of The Factory we have been getting creative, developing the likes of the Future Lite technology.

In the end our aim is to create quality surf products and enjoy the lifestyle that surfing provides us.
